Uncle Jiang accused him of being Wei Wuxian, but when he whipped him with Zidian... nothing happened. Zidian is supposed to be able to remove the soul from the body it's possessing. But we found out later it was because Mo Xuanyu killed himself and gave his body up as a host.

So there's no real possession. That's why Zidian didn't work. [He shakes his head.] Uncle Jiang is angry, but... Hanguang-jun won't let any harm come to him.
