[ toi keeps finding himself at the garden with this soccer ball. one might think he likes soccer or something. but mostly, he's gently kicking it against a tree so that when it comes back to him, he doesn't have to walk too far to get it. it's fine. ]

[Jin Ling pauses in what he's doing to glance up at the sound of the ball smacking against the tree. He's so tired that he looks incredibly tired, just off to Toi's right.

But he's also

in one of Toi's favorite spots: crouched down in one section of the garden picking some good ol' Mary Jane.]

[ toi notices him right when he kicks the ball

and sees what he's doing




and he kicks the ball too hard in surprise and it just fuckin nyoms ]

[Well, he does look up when the ball sounds different as it goes berserk; unfortunately, he looks up just in time for it to zoom straight for him.

It's too solid. It hits him smart right at the top of the chest, and he yells loudly as he goes bowling up and over. The plants he has in his hands pops up and sprinkles down, landing some on top of him as he lies on his back in the middle. He groans.]

toi does not run over to check to see how he is? half because he can't really run due to his injury, but also because he wouldn't have ran over even if he was injured. i'm sorry. but he does slowly walk over and then

[With another softer groan, he swats at the foot poking him.] Why did you hit me?! [He rolls over in all the weed and pushes up to his knees, slapping his arms like he’s dusting them off.]
