there's a dead person!

that is to say, toi is wandering the halls after... all of that happened. maybe hunter is somewhere here.

he's not looking for him or anything but MAYBE HUNTER IS SOMEWHERE HERE. ]

[It's a lovely morning here in this very ominous crypt in the basement. Whatever part of the room Toi is currently looking around in, Hunter walks directly into him.

This time it's because his head is rolling around on the floor near the skulls and he's blindly trying to find where it went. Please save him. Or don't.]

[ it's been a little while after that whole, uh. ordeal.

but toi is in his room. his door is sliiiightly open, although whether that was on purpose or on accident, is up in the air. it's fine. ]

[It's later on in the day, after he's had a chance to shower and change his clothes, that he's reading in the library. He's so tired it's difficult to focus on the words in front of him, which might be why he gives up pretty easily when he notices Toi.]

...Hey.

[ well! this has been a lot!

that is to say, toi is walking down the hallway. he's probably trying to get back to his room, and he stops when he sees a familiar face. there are a few seconds where he is debating on whether to say something or not so it's just

seconds of silence ]

[ it's hours after execution. toi figured that hunter probably would want to be alone for a while, and that other people would seek him out. so, he waits for a long time before he decides to search the place for him.

when toi finds him, he stuffs his hands in his pockets. ]

[ well, it's monday which means it's time to explore the new areas. toi makes it to the newly added floor and he glances down the hall before heading to the astronomy room.

time to see what the hell is up in here!! ]

[He was there for the commotion on Wednesday night, but he didn't linger after everyone seemed to be in stable condition. Well, everyone except - ha.

Partway through Thursday, he knocks on the other boy's door, frowning.]

Hey. Can I come in?

[Early Tuesday, Hunter's looking around for Toi! When he finds him, he's heading into the astronomy tower immediately, holding a few pieces of paper in his hands.]

Hey, man. You got a second?

[ this is another rare instance where toi is actively seeking hunter out. wow.

but when he spots him in the garden, he will just hurry along while. also doing it casually so it doesn't look like he's.... actively seeking hunter out...... tsun ]

Hunter.

[It's a while after the announcement is played that Hunter heads towards the kitchen. He's been looking around for someone up until this point, but when he can't find them and sees Toi instead, he opens his mouth to ask something. He has a crayon and notebook tucked under his arm, and the reason for that is about to become immediately apparent, because as soon as he tries to talk... The only sound that makes it out of his mouth is a series of dial up noises, like a very old computer trying to connect to the internet.

Give him a second, he looks slightly annoyed that this is still happening.]

this day has been a lot, and toi is taking a walk to try to take a break from the. well. suddenly very full house. ]
